Panther is fine, I have no trouble sending stuff through it. No one seems to have any problem viewing whatever so long as they have the latest version of what ever. But then I have not been that active. You might try MPlayerX if you are having problems with the .mov There isn't a version for X 3 yet, but the one for X2 seems to open everything I want to view.
