I usually just barely squeak by under the time limit, and sometimes I have to reserve the panel again to upload it. The time limit used to be four hours, but I never (well, rarely) used more than two and a half. This is just about perfect, plus it frees the Grid sooner if someone doesn't fulfill their reservation.
