I likewise pretty much ignored NEWS. When several posts disappeared I assumed that the GridGod disapproved of my words and expunged them before they could contaminate the Cosm. I recognize the need to keep the garden from getting too tangled and appreciate those who do the task. Could the transplanting of messages to other parts of the garden be accompanied by an automatic email informing one that a message was deemed a weed in the context and had been moved? I don't know if it is feasible, but it would have saved a lot of paranoid speculation on my part. Long live the Grid! Oliver
