I was thinking that at the point where I started adding to it, I took the last panel at that time, downloaded it and worked from there. When I got it it was a larger image, larger than the animation, and I just kept that size. I am thinking that maybe when the animation gets compiled now it chokes on the sudden leap in file sizes. The last few I resized down to fit the animation. Just an idea.
