it sure sounds tantalizing. i have seen shared-canvas drawing sites that use java. i dont know if they have a "lurker" mode. that would be cool. i also like the auto-snapshot feature to save occasional freeze-frames of the progress. lots of good thoughts.
maybe someone can do some research into flash and java. not like i actually have time... haha but maybe there is something *close* to this we can install and alter slightly. just experimentally, etc...
