I don't know how many post have followed this by Jon Van Oast on 2001-06-09 01:46:24 but it occurs to me that the easiest way to begin such a project and divine the level of interest would be to have a panic-style collab done where folks upload flash 'scenes.' Perhaps if there were a master editable file sitoids could add their scene to the uploaded version and then - at the end of the panic - one sitoid could compile the result and upload it. I would be interested in any kind of flash collab since I think it's very cool despite it's non-open-standard nature.
