I've gotten involved making PANICs and not backed up, leading to hosed file and no PANIC. I consider it akin to abstract expressionists going off on some tangent and losing a canvas, except you can't gesso over mising ones and zeroes. The Internet is definitely addictive. I notice that the Google Earth BBS even has warnings to get addiction counseling if it takes over your life. Good luck with your cartooning.
