My personal TRIBUTE to TCA, KBO, RBR, MRM, JFW, GIO and SAZ
by Marlos Salustiano [mrs SITOme] [email Marlos Salustiano] 2008-09-07 16:00:34 [21189]
All the young doodlers, carry the news!

Let me praise now my fellow articipants:

THOMAS ARMAGOST

I'm totally grateful to TCA (wich i consider the dean of eloquent brevity) for his ever cordial approach and above all for his patience and recognition that, in spite of my lengthy remarks, i'm neither Hamlet's Polonyus nor Sin City's Douglas Klump! :-)

TCA really possess the wise serenity (and also the ZEN-like sense of humour) that is required to promote both fellow conciliation and a proper environment for the blossoming of new ideas! Although he's an oldtimer, his heart and behaviour is that of an newcomer: always curious and open, never arrogant! He never behaves as if he own the place and also never judges anyone in debasing terms! When he disagrees with something, he exercises elegant irony in such a way that even the person that is been ironized start laughing WITH HIM instead of being offended! That's why i admire his gridplaying and respect him a lot!

KILBO

I praise KBO's for his recognition of the importance of a more lengthy and ambicious debate and, above all, for his cleverness: his Gridhelix proposal remains worthy of carefull atention, thoughtful sugestions and enthusiastic aproval ! After all, that's exactly why the forum was created: not for stupid and inocous debasing remarks or childish mockery, but to DEBATE gridcosm's structure, to share technical information about hardware/software (as SRD and other fellows like to do) and also to analyse politico-philosophical and psychological aspects of the gridplaying. After all, gridcosm cannot be reduced only to its technical properties! There are much more involved! Last but not least, i'm very intrigued with the FIRE IT UP deconstructed novel!

SAZ

I thank SAZ for is cordial approach and for having read my 3 posts on Mollinger! I thank him for the recognition that a point was made there, since Mollinger deals with the concept of narcisism (to tag modernist aesthetics) and i have replied explaining that there are 2 forms of individualism (one is solipsistic narcisism and the other is existential/engaged non-narcisistic) and 2 forms of colectivism (one is corporative, massificating and alienating while the other is heterodox, wikicratic). All this to prove one point: that in the gridcosm context, we can blend the healthy existential individualism with the healthy heterodox colectivism and that, by doing so, we would be SURPASSING blendism and quiltism.

RBR

In eloquent silence Bris was following everything in the forum, as his squares clearly demonstrate! Bold fella! He is the SURPASSER, and proved that brilliantly in his interventions in 3157! Actualy, he is always bold and at the same time sensitive: economic in the forum but poignant in the grid! Your gridplaying rules!

MRM

I deeply admire MRM's geometrical and chaleidoscopical approach to the grid! I praise him for his openness and boldness at taking his time in the grid, defying reactionary/demeaning labelings while unfolding his geometric trip!

JFW

Amazing expressionistic approach in 3157!

GIO

Misterious, fast, minimalistic, conceptual! Disappears and reappears! Bold geometrical and conceptual approach to the grid!

ED and JON

True democrats! They proved to be radically OPEN toards the debate that was running in the forum and in the grid. That's why SITO is not an CORPORATIVE SYMULACRA of artistic project. SITO is indeed aN ARTISTIC artistic project!

Well, about myself:

I only follow the poetic impertinence of surfers, skateboardists, and graffiti artists:

the latent possibility of a wave is that we can stand still over it, as if it were concrete

the latent possibility of concrete is that whe can dive into it, as if it were a wave

the latent possibility of a wall is that whe can use it as a canvas

the latent possibility of the GRIDCOSM is that we can ...

on SNY

Everything i've said about him before [ (...discuss?num=21093&topic=sito.synergy.gridcosm&compact=0) and also (...discuss?num=21097&topic=sito.synergy.gridcosm&compact=0)] still stands.

In addition i only can say that his arrogance and pharisaism is exactly what can be apropriately taged as "inconsiderate", "selfish" and "pretentious", since he is always the first one to use these tags to debase what doesn't follow his Goebbelsian taste.
