i love that stuff, yeah. reminds me of friend-of-a-friend joel fox's (sitoid FOX) hygrid piece, done as an animation using his scanned face. he didnt move in each scan, but similar idea. ...hygrid?center=foxguy.gif (wow, 1996!)
one of my favorite things to see this effect on is the human face. if you are going to scan your face, its hard *not* to move. looks pretty cool.
