I believe conception was in the month of March of 1997.

Cosmcon is a good idea. My preferred gathering spots:

1. NYC -- High concentration of participation and good nexus-point for travel.

2. Portland, Oregon -- A lot of work was done there. Good coffee. Zines. Bicycles.

3. San Francisco, CA -- I live there now, so that increases the likelihood I can attend. Selfishness. Silicon Valley.
