over the years, i flip-flop on how i feel about *purposed* grid-hogging (as opposed to newbie or malicious grid-hogging, i mean). i have seen so much grid go by, i think i am leaning more towards liking it. in short, i guess i am slowly accepting there is "room" for this kinda thing. it can add some nice effects to the animation, too.

however, when it appears, i still have that reaction to it ... kinda jarring, kinda interrupt the flow. but, in time, the grid absorbs all...

besides, the monkey-mouth plot twist is a wonderful surprise!
