the 'grid overlay' was there before, just kinda hidden as a little button like this: #
it toggles a graphic on top of the level that shows the lines where each piece has its edge. it only works on a standards-compliant browser (basically anything but some versions of explorer).
oh, forgot to mention, it only works on completed levels.
