all around, well said, says me. it has caused me to examine my anger towards the powerful and look at things more compassionately. i may not agree with what they are doing (at all!), but there is a lot of other bad juju going on out there, and it might just be a little better -- for me, anyway -- to consider caring about the abused and exploited rather than fuming against the abusers and exploiters. to boil it down to a badly-worded bumper sticker: "dont hate bush, love the poor". or replace 'poor' with 'iraqis', etc. thats my reaction now. as you said, always searching for clarity and focus.
