To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the best American films. Ever. I love it. ...gridcosm?level=2322 I tend to think of Gridcosm as being the comedic part of the American tragi-comedy. That's why it's hard to pay adequate tribute to a great actor like Brock Peters on Gridcosm. Anyway, there's no finer tribute than the film itself.

Peters had an acting role in at least one of the Star Trek movies along with the late Jimmy Doohan and the rest of the original cast. He also appeared on Deep Space Nine. Gridcosm seems to withstand pop culture much better than grave matters. It's like high tech art therapy in a virtual reality looney bin.

"the myth of the colorless society"

RBR, would you like to talk about this?

The Thing-Fish was portrayed by Ike Willis--a black musician. He was a willing co-conspirator in Frank Zappa's band. Zappa truly did not take skin color or sexual orientation into consideration when judging prospective band members. He judged their talent, and their willingness to work hard and contribute.
