I think you should at least be able to cancel your reservation. If you're worried that people might take advantage of this to cancel reservations at odd times (instead of the predictable 2hr time limit that anyone can get on if they time it correctly), just make it such that once you cancel a reservation on a square, you can never reserve that square (on that level) again. I'm just bringing this up because I made a three-panel mosaic but wasn't able to submit it all at once because I pressed the wrong Reserve link, and now everyone has to wait for the two hours to run out before work on the Gridcosm can continue.
