the tiny quotes

to make something small when quoting someone, you just need quotes around it. like this:

"this just has some quotes around it, so should appear small."

i made the code *try to be smart* and ignore "smaller" quotes, like the word smaller there. what is smaller? i forget! but at some point, it is large enough to be made small. wow, that is confusing.

to make matters worse, if you embed a quoted word in a quote, it really messes up. (that is what you saw in your post, eho. but i fixed it.) the trick for this is to use two single quotes ['] (or one) inside a quote:

"this long quote has a ''small quote'' inside of it using two single-quotes on each end."

in short: wow how confusing!!!!! (that is what happens when you try to make computers smart.)
