If it were possible would we want to do this?"its technically possible. in reality, it would be more like every N levels (say, 10 or 20), the whole thing has to be redone. the biggest problem with this is you need all the level data. of course its on the server, but it is around 1.5gig (if i remember right), so it needs to be acquired first. second, to generate the whole thing (especially the quality lenara had) takes a huge amount of processing power -- more than we can do on the server without interfering with sito. its not a bad idea to have a smaller version created offline and uploaded every, oh, maybe 50 levels. anyone with a beefy unix machine and some scripting skills should be able to pull it off. the smoothness is just a matter of getting the timing of the frames right and doing the right math to get the scaling to look even. | ||
