I was looking at the Grid stats for a bit. Me and MKC started on the same level 012. My first panel was almost alien looking to me. I was on a much cruder software back then of course and had never participated. I look back at those early levels and can see icons of my own. I did not have a scanner. I had one disk filled with images I had obtained from an old handheld scanner ( which was a fun toy ) that I had captured in 1991! One disk of a few TIFFs. Those black and white eyes in 013 are from that disk I am sure. I really barely recall HOW it felt for me to do a panel back then, with the old stuff and upload method. You really had to do some planning to get a whole level at that point. I, from time to time have entertained the notion of stopping my participation in the Grid when I reach my 2170th piece. But I like this too much. I think the reason this Grid of ours is so different than the other varieties out there is for the message board and the discussions we all have there. OK. Just some thoughts. SUN
