If you are willing to coach me a little, I should be able to do some coding. I do a lot of C++ programming for work, and I learned a bunch of other languages in school (Pascal, assembly, prolog, java, lisp), so I don't think perl will hurt much. I just don't know how to get it started.

So if you have some time to point me in the right direction, I'll do some work.
