"Not so much me." Who else? "It seems to me like you pretty much crushed a really interesting new development in the game instead of helping it along. You of course may not see it as interesting and feel obliged to stunt its growth." Take a look at what BMS did on the previous level. ...gridcosm?level=1720 1720 a1, a3, b3, and c3. Do you think that she earned the right to take over an entire level? OTOH, if I'd read your threadstarter communique in time, I probably would have given her a break and refrained from uploading to level 1721. Why not. Anyway, I don't think that I stunted BMS's growth. So I don't feel much remorse over trimming her on level 1721. As gardeners and hair stylists say, ''it'll grow back.'' Her work will probably be stronger and more invasive in the days to come. "Whatever will we do next? That is the fun of the game." I'd be having fun if we were showing each other respect. Mutual respect is the ''togetherness'' that I'd like to feel. If only we could bask in the glow of our diversity of talent. . . . Flames don't bring me satisfaction. Instead of feeling good about my participation, I feel insecure. But maybe uninhibited honesty of emotions is the highest priority. Ugly clashing colors, ugly clashing emotions. So maybe I'll stop whining about disrespect and insecurity. I'd love to be admired by ODR and EHO. I'm saddened that I'm not. My favorite EHO levels are those in which her swooping sweeping penstrokes seem totally uninhibited. I'm glad that I don't hate Gridcosm itself. The Grid goes on. I admire the inventors of the tools that make it possible. | ||
