In your mind the image was unified? I must have done a good job of blending it. But VON does deserve most of the credit.

BTW, it's a helmet, not a hat. German or Russian. From the late feudal period. The guy in the photo is performing in an opera in San Francisco--he must be the comic relief. The helmet resembles a pawn on a chess board. In 1702 a1 and a2 I tried to pull this concept together. Instead of a chess board and pieces, I used pieces and board for the game of Sorry! ...gridcosm?level=1702 Frankly, I think I didn't pull it off. I couldn't recover from uploading helmet man to the wrong square on level 1701.
