"Welcome and my two cents to newbies. The goal of composition is unity, making one thing out of many things. Something that holds together as a unit. Collaboration, working together as one, does not mean making different compostions for each square per level here on Gridcosm. Think Borroughs/Gysin's Third Mind. Not always perfection, but aim for more than patchwork. BAZ, another old gridder from Tejas" Oh! I have William Burroughs & Brion Gysin links. Dig in. ...showart?show=tca.0053 I'm from California, narcissism capital of the universe. Kiyotei is from Carlsbad-by-the-Sea, not too far from where I live. I must visit him in-the-flesh some day. His strong suit is postal art. And he's no stranger to Gridcosm. BAZ, is 1522-a1 an example of Composition & Collaboration, or were you just having a bad day? Frankly, I would call this piece "School of TCA" because it closely resembles something that I'd create on one of MY bad days. That white rectangle is so... it's one of my greatest weaknesses, something I've been trying to avoid doing for a long time. Is 1522-a1 a parody of TCA, perhaps? An excellent parody, if so. Oh! I almost forgot to mention 1525-c3. The fortune cookie. Complete with inscrutable fortune. ''We varned you. Did you listen?'' Care to decipher?
