Another odd thing is that when I was creating the panels I just knew a red apple had to be there for some reason. Actually it started as a red ball, and then I changed it to the apple. The odd thing is even though i had acknowledged it earlier in the day, I didn't make any associations to the yellow "ail-eric" apple in TCA's panels. I just knew I needed a red apple to compliment the red border in SNY's panel and to give some volume to an otherwise flat panel.

I orignally wanted to use this apple, because it's one hell of a cool picture, but alas it did not serve the art.

So what did end up using was this plain old red delicious, but it needed a tiny bit of color enhancement...
