"Please note that in my 1222 c3 I incorporated elements from ALL the adjacent levels. [...] You are certainly correct in your assertion that your piece blends with b3, but c2? No way, you didn't even make an effort."

I disagree.

"It seems to me that you were so eager to continue your handicapped policeman pattern into the next level that you slapped something together (in 4 hours as usual) so you could be sure to get a2 on the next level."

c3 took just over an hour to complete and post. I hadn't given a thought to 1224-a2. The Bobby pattern fizzled on level 1224--I couldn't figure out what to do with it. The finished product looks somewhat like an abstract stylized phallus pointed at David Bowie's lips. A French postcard from Mick, perhaps? SNY's phallus on a3 and b3 is less subtle. It looks like it belongs in a pornographic remake of Yellow Submarine. OTOH, maybe the Bobby pattern is supposed to be a pipe. ''What's in that pipe you're smokin', dude?''

"I just felt a little slighted. I played something that presented an interesting challenge, a challenge that most Gridheads would be up to, and then you (TCA) come along and totally disregard that challenge completely. Taking that challenge out of the equation goes against the spirit of collaboration, and makes playing here a little less fun."

Sorry. I feel slighted now and again. Others probably feel slighted sometimes. Deal. It's seldom an intentional insult. It's usually just someone in hot pursuit of an obscure momentary personal obsession.
