Would someone please translate these words into english? EHO?

I'm the worst artist here and I'm the least qualified to lecture about blendiness. Lately I've just been chopping out rectangles and pasting 'em. Not very blendy. But maybe someone should post on the subject of blendiness for the benefit of our wonderful Gridcosm newbies.
