Being loved by y'all could be more hazardous to my health than being shunned. Somehow TCA is associated with pacifism? Wrong! Pacifist symbolism was not my intent on level 898. Anyone with an average IQ should realize that nothing will stop the U.S. military from salvaging its pride. Conducting an antiwar protest at this stage of the game is like organizing a protest demonstration against earthquakes. Nice people find war "unpleasant," as the British put it, but some acts of stupidity are so enormous that warfare is the inevitable consequence. Throw a rock at a beehive, get stung. It's only natural. My point in posting the suv.org quote was that improving gas mileage should be considered a matter of National Security--forget about environmentalism. The U.S. must decrease its dependence on foreign oil. I'm not a good propagandist, nor do I think that Gridcosm is a good vehicle for propaganda. Those three squares of mine on level 898 contain ambiguous complexity, which is the antithesis of propaganda. I wasn't afraid to reveal my uncertainties. This aspect of my work possibly irritates DGT and BAZ alike. Which reminds me. While I'm on vacation from Gridcosm, I'll read _V._ and _Gravity's Rainbow_ by Thomas Pynchon. Maybe these books will inspire some digital artwork. | ||
