Well I'm fond of the original, because it is simply the most beauuutiful piece of lawn watering equipment I've come across. The colors alone made me drool. It also has that great back and forth wave action, where as it's cousin the WaveMaster II has adjustable straight up in the air action which could be useful too. But is a lawn absolutely necessary? I live in the northwest, and we are experiencing a drought this year, (though you wouldn't know it to look outside) so it would be a bad time to plant a lawn. Besides that, you gotta mow a lawn and that's a hell waste of time energy and gas. Of course who am I to talk. I love my lawn. It's kinda hard to play croquet without one.
