780 c3 ( reaching for definitions )
by Tonto Calzone   2001-05-30 21:28:02 [1876]
Why the hell was this in MY mailbox? I got ( TCA ) your response to my post - it containing a message addressed to DGT. Odd. But let me go on....

//c3// I only commented on the imagery of c3 at all. It does look like Frank is midhusband to a Baby Duck Bellhoppian MD/resident.

TCA It is simple. You got a weird way of playing that is all. Youknow what I have grown used to it. I don't want to drive anyone away!

REGARDING DEFINITIVE CHOICE: You picked the 1st subselection of the 3rd possible definition on which to concentrate. I think that suited your avoidance. I am sure Jonathan was reacting to your succession of abrupt panels, with their clear lines seperating them from the adjacent panel.

NB: I know freeform is cool. I love Zappa. He'd buy girls pizza.

Challenge TCA: I think if you were challenged to SEEMLESSLY and without referencing other panels, create a panel that blended and injected an original thought that was so subtle it would cause a invigorating sense of puzzlement in the viewer ( I mean - why not you seem to savor ALL of the 2 hours allotted ) you would have a really hard time. No matter how you shine it: I posit you would have a hard time doing the hypothetical task with a degree of success.

I am not laying a trip on you. I state here [for whatever useless records] that you seem to overall have a very selective way of tackling panels. There will always seem to be one gratuitous blend that seems borne more of some sense of obligation rather than thoughtfulness, then there will be a collage of various deep references to either your own or someone elses panel from prior levels.

I expect this from you without fail and I accept it with a strange sense of serenity now and react in a manner I have thought up recently.

It is funny to not be so incensed - to watch other developments and comment.

Rock on dude,

Sunshine
