Gridcosm is about us, and one of us has died. Reactions will range from quiet introspection to outright denial to florid grief. Artists can be subtle critters, like cats. We don't always clearly and directly state our feelings. We do the "abstract" thing, the "symbolism" thing. Some of us may get drunk... er, get upset. Some of us may overreact to someone's overreaction. Among artists, there's no appropriate or inappropriate reaction to a tragedy such as this. IMHO. If appropriate behavior is really, really important to you, consider a career in accounting. We should all cut each other a lot of slack during this sad phase. BTW, I still haven't made the transition to "blendiness." However, I've made progress. I've procured a PCI USB card, Wacom Graphire pad, pen and mouse, Painter 6, Synthetik Studio Artist 1.1 for Mac, and Photoshop 5 LE. I'll probably go away for awhile to take care of more RL biz, but I won't be gone longer than a month.
