Did I seem to be putting myself down? Actually, I was praising the artists who have participated over the years.

I've taken some art classes. A cartoonist professor at Scripps College (since retired) helped me gain admittance to Pitzer College, which is located across the street from Scripps. My grades in high school were mediocre. Were it not for cartooning, I probably could not have attended that particular college.
