You want color? This self-portrait is a happy accident.

I was switching palettes in Photoshop 2.5.1 LE and it just sort of happened. Afterwards, I experimented with switching palettes... These days, switching palettes in midstream is an intentional effect. Similar to selecting a filter or plug-in. I especially like switching from RGB Color TIF to Indexed Color Web Safe .GIF... You'll see.

BTW, I've graduated to PS 4.0.1 LE (vintage 1997) and Painter 5.5 (vintage 1998). Don't laugh, they're paid for and they run fast on my beige Mac G3 (vintage 1999).
