Should the leftovers grids go to the trash?

I guess it happened to most of you before : creating a piece for the grid and by the time you've done it and u go into reserving the space, it's been taken by someone else. So far so good but I was wondering if we could find a place where to put those left overs, somekind of cybergrave page, rather than keep them for ourself or trash them. Anyone wants to react on that?
