OH! That "sea toe" thing reminds me, the unofficial mascot of SITO (in the minds of about three people) is the "Sea Toe", a giant big toe with tentacles! I've drawn it many times. We theorised the tentacles each represented different visions for the site. There would actually be nine tentacles, just to keep it magikal and odd. COLLABORATION, EXHIBITS, ARTCHIVE, PUBLISHING/ZINES, VIDEO, GAMES, ROBOTICS, TRAVEL, COMMUNITY ...or something like that.
