which reminds me, why dont (or do they?) macs and windows have "raid" disk options? that is what i do on my linux boxes now; buy two hard drives (they are cheap enough, $100/40gig) and make it just look like one drive. all data is mirrored on both. the theory is that they wont both go bad at the same time. in *theory*.
