i agree with the idea of transparency due to the colouring, but the aspect that i find interesting is the application of paint on the neck/chest area, really solid, earthly. it's in direct contrast with the eerie smoothness of the facial application and i think that does raise the question as to whether this is a person/ghost or a shadow of a person ie, abuse related themes. nice work anyway, although to add a critical point, the area of hair behind the left cheek looks like it could do with a little more definition maybe, not too sure though - im going to keep staring at it.
