I came across this while googling savory french toast recipes, and I don't know if the comments are supposed to be about the recipe or the photo, but I have comments about both~ 1. Rye bread does happen to make delicious sweet french toast - no clash at all! Recipe sounds good also. 2. I personally found it difficult to read the recipe on top of the picture.
