The picture is a very low speed exposure on a dark night. I liked the quality of the light and I get this dumb macho charge out of taking multi-second pictures without a tripod and not blurring them. (My secret: two-second self timer means that the motion of pushing the button is past when the shutter goes off.) But beyond the dumb macho charge, it also makes me think about movement and stillness. And when there is a moving object in the shot, the blurring can be nifty.
