it is wonderful to see the play of colors in this work. it is angled and somewhat fiesty (like you say it's aggressive.) it is better than some of the orphist works, but not better than some of the original cubist works. i'm not sure how to classify it, except that it fits in with abstract works of the post cubist era of the early twentieth century.
