| Hi Jerrold! Oh thank you! I enjoyed painting this. Well, the red wine did help! ;} I am just beginning to learn figure painting, and feel my figures are still stilted and off. Looking at this tiny painting, feel that her neck,shoulders, and that poor breast are all a bit out of whack. I like the skin tones, and shadow on the curtain. The flow, ease, and body movement you have in your work is what I strive for. Do you make many sketches of your subject before you begin a painting? Do you work from photos and live models?
