I like the idea of assembling piano parts into a sculpture. I had the soundboard from an upright piano that I thought was gorgeous. It was tremendously heavy and took up a lot of space so it is gone without even a photo as a reminder. I would like to think that someone recognized its beauty and transformed it into something less cumbersome. If I had the chance agian I would assemble the piano parts into a woodsman with an ax and call him Chopin.
