I first thought that this was a typo error because a biography of Rizal by Claro M. Recto was translated and entitled by Roman Ozaeta as "Pride of the Malay Race." It was Blumentritt I think who first called Rizal that title. However, after carefully re-reading Rizal's biography I thought he is more than that, he is indeed, a "Pride of the Human Race."
