No one expects a masterpiece, one can't decide to make one either. I do think it is fair to expect makers of images to be responsible and answerable for what they do.

Discussion and criticism ought to rise above a polarizing like or dislike level. "Like" (and dislike) after all are such a bland, overused terms best used on items like sushi vs. catfish. I'm more interested in the why of taste rather than the existence of it.
