Stephen, you can control the publicity of your email address by editing your personal settings. Login to SITO, then go to your SITOme - http://id.sito.org/sms - and click the "change my settings" link that should appear in the top horizontal band on the page.

Any SITOid can change their settings in this manner. Just replace "sms" with your SITO ID.
