Description:Computer enhanced infra-red aerial photographs of the project site commissioned by the City's archaeologist in 1996 clearly revealed the presence of round and elliptical features, foundations of ancient homes and ceremonial enclosures. That archaeologist was fired. Despite the discovery and documentation of multiple ancient human remains and religious artifacts all over the project site over the past 50 years and Native American protest rallies at City Hall, the City and developer ploughed on.
