Description:Illustration assignment: to paint a portrait from a photo completely in watercolor. The professor wanted to use a portrait of a pilot from the Tuskeegee Airmen, the famous all-black flying squadron. It was a wonderful gesture and this turned out to be one of my best renderings. Watercolor on paper.
