Description:Life drawing class assignment: to draw a portrait incorporating the musculoskeletal structure of the arms. I took a portrait I was doing for a painting class and modified it with multiple arms in a Buddhist style composition. I chose complimentary colors for impact, rendered it with details and used Buddhist mudras, or hand gestures, that give the composition a symbolistic quality. Chalk pastels and color pencil on paper.
