Description:Life drawing assignment: to draw a portrait and inject a "duality" theme in the composition. The theme represents the "old" self (menancing gaze) and the "new" self (looking & pointing towards heaven). The hourglass represents time and how little of it is left. This was done in a hurry and is admittedly sloppy. Charcoal on paper.
