Description:Typography assignment: compose a drawing of a human face using only typefaces. I had been studying Japanese woodblock prints at the time and thought a kabuki face would be interesting. All of the facial features were easy to construct, except the hair. I settled on this hairstyle as a last resort...it kinda looked like cornrows, hence the title. This was submitted and accepted to the Student Art Show, a proud moment for me!
