Description:Drawing assignment: to create a dyptich featuring a duality theme. The goal was to create two drawings each with it's own meaning and when combined has a meaning as a dyptich. The dyptich forms a "mememto mori"; the certainty of death (skull drawing) and it's permanance (lock drawing). The lock is open because the viewer is not yet dead. Again, I find success with chiaroscuro. White charcoal on black paper.
