Description:This Navajo woman had a house whose dirt floor was covered with concrete made from rocks gathered at the uranium mines. Her husband, a mine worker and non-smoker, died from lung cancer. Her nephew, not a miner nor a smoker, also died from lung cancer. But he lived in the radioactive house years ago. White charcoal on black textured paper.
